Support the financial management of the overall Japan business. Prepare and responsible for timely and accurate financial and management accounting reports ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Some interface with Asia region finance team will be required.

【Technical】
・ Responsible for consistency accuracy and timeliness of financial and non financial reporting to achieve regulatory and business outcomes
・ Responsible for compliance with Lend Lease and local Japan accounting policies and guidelines and relevant accounting standards and related statutory regulatory and legal requirements

【Financial reporting and control】
・ Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
・ Preparation of plans budgets and forecasts for the component business units in a timely and accurate manner
・ Preparation of monthly management reports including commentary of results profit and cashflow forecasting
・ Monthly tracking of profit and costs against forecasts conduct variance analysis where needed
・ Support commercial analysis and project forecast for Construction and Development businesses.

【Strategic initiatives】
・ Support implementation of global policies procedures accounting systems standards and financial controls
・ Proactively identify and raise non compliant issues （if any） and/or continuous improvement initiatives to ensure integrity of financial systems processes and outputs
・ Conduct research pertaining to the application of appropriate data and processing methods and analysis recording and reporting of financial information to support informed decision making

・ Prior work experience as finance analyst for Min.5 years
・ Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related technical discipline which may include CA and/or CPA qualifications （CPA preferred but not necessary）
・ Experience in real estate related business preferred
・ Strong background in general and transactional accounting cost accounting and reporting
・ Language skills: Japanese （native） written English （strong） verbal English （average）
